You’ll recognize cutie Christopher Abbott in this trailer. He plays Charlie on HBO’s ‘Girls’. Here, he plays the younger guy that gets pursued by the older woman. Isn’t that a refreshing change?

‘Hello I Must Be Going’ was a hit at Sundance and it looks to be pretty funny. It continues on the mid-life crisis/malaise, what-the-fuck-am-I-doing-with-my-life trend we’ve been seeing a lot of lately. Now, don’t get me wrong—I certainly don’t mind. Some of the other films in this ilk have been quite good: ‘Greenberg’, ‘Please Give’, ‘Tiny Furniture’. I’ll take another one of these over the generic fish-out-of-water story we’ve seen 10,000 times too many. Thanks, Tim Burton, but no thanks. You’ve done enough, really.

‘Hello I Must Be Going’ opens in select cities on September 7th and also stars Blythe Danner, Jimmi Simpson, and Melanie Lynskey as the older woman.
