SOME RUSSIAN BEAR REDEFINES THE TERM FIRECROTCH FOR A NEW GENERATION

As we’ve all been reading this week, there are a bunch of crazy people in Russia who get so worked up by the very thought of Madonna that they threaten violence and arrest. It didn’t stop our Lady of the M from performing and giving balaclava-clad shout-outs to imprisoned punk band Pussy Riot the other night in Moscow. As far as I know, there were no incidents, but tonight Maddy is performing in the even more conservative St. Petersburg.

So, as you can probably imagine, the Orthodox Church isn’t happy. And as with any other Christian religion, they hate women and the gays, so the next thing you know there’s a fat hairy dude with some Wizard charcoal fluid and a busted lighter burning Madonna posters in the streets of the former Soviet Bloc.

“We are destroying the image to drive the demon out.” Which basically means they already jacked off to it so now they have to get rid of it because they feel guilty now. I heard Mitt Romney does the same thing.

They called her disgusting and accused her of black magic, which just happen to be two of my favorite Madonna traits, so I’m not sure where these guys are coming from. They said some other nice things like, “she is going to hell!” and “we’re not against her as a person.” Aww…there just a bunch of old softies.

Some of you heathens reading this may recognize these guys. They’re known as The Orthodox Standard-bearers Union and have in the past burned Harry Potter books, buried a toy monkey to protest Darwin, and dispersed crowds at the 2006 Gay Pride Parade in Moscow. Hot. I wonder if they’re on Grindr.

I think what annoys me most about these guys is that they go through all this trouble to make such a spectacle and they can’t even bring a decent lighter to a poster burning. Hot messes!
