MIU MIU SPONSORS A SERIES OF SHORT FILMS BY INTERNATIONAL FEMALE DIRECTORS TO SCREEN AT ‘VENICE DAYS’ PROGRAMME

Here we get to see the trailer for the Iranian-born director Massy Tadjedin’s short ‘It’s Getting Late’. It stars Aubrey Plaza, Patricia Clarkson, Rinko Kikuchi, and Gemma Arterton. Three other films make up the ‘Women’s Tales’ series: ‘The Powder Room’, directed by Zoe Cassavetes; ‘Muta’, directed by Lucrecia Martel; and ‘The Woman Dress’, directed by Giada Colagrande.

The films will screen on August 30th on the Venice Lido. A Miu Miu press release says the series will “show how the Miu Miu short film platform has managed to combine credible filmmaking themes and a strong feminine point of view with fashion.”
