NEW DNA TEST USES CUTTING-EDGE TECHNOLOGY TO GIVE YOU THE RICHEST ANCESTRY INFORMATION AVAILABLE

I’m not usually one for those types of ancestoral tests or tv shows that tell you things like Angelina Jolie is your tenth cousin twice removed or that your great-great-great-grandfather on your mother’s side was a Sultan, but this goes much farther.

National Geographic has actually developed theGeno 2.0 test kit (complete with cheek swabs!) to determine things like migration paths of your ancient ancestors, whether you have Neanderthal or Denisovan ancestry, and what percentage of your genome is affiliated with specific regions of the world.

The organization says that the project is “an ambitious attempt to help answer fundamental questions about where humankind originated and how we came to populate the Earth.”
