Maison Premiere: Oysters And Absinthe In Brooklyn

[ , , , , , , , ]

Maison Premiere

This is one of those places you just instantly want to be in. I think it captures a mood perfectly. Couldn’t you just see Van Gogh sipping Absinthe at Maison Premiere? The beautiful patina on the worn-out silver sage walls complements the warm red of the vintage Thonet chairs wonderfully. It’s the brainchild of Josh Boissy from the nearby Williamsburg bistro Le Barricou.

Pursuitist says that when you take a seat at Maison Premiere, you are handed a “long list of spirits, cocktails and wines; a pencil, and a seafood menu.” Now, there’s just something about a menu that comes along with a pencil that I adore.
