‘Vamps’ looks fun! Director Amy Heckerling (‘Clueless’, ‘Fast Times At Ridgemont High’) does light, clever comedy better than pretty much anyone. This looks like what I was hoping ‘Dark Shadows’ would be, but with two big pluses—no Tim Burton or Johnny Depp! I kid, I kid (okay, not really). Instead we get Alicia Silverstone, Krysten Ritter, Malcolm McDowell, Sigourney Weaver, and Kristen Johnston. I love the double coffin bit.
