Austrian Bela Borsodi has a background in graphic design and fine art and it shows in his photography. The focus of his work is still life. His images are cleverly composed, usually involving simple props in clever ways that fool the eye. His colors are bold and reflect a playful tone apparent in almost all of his pieces. He has done editorial work for many high-progile magazines such as New York Times Magazine, V Magazine, Wallpaper, Details, and Wired. He has worked on advertising campaigns for Bloomingdale’s, Hermes, Selfridge’s, Uniqlo, and Puma among others. Bela lives and works in New York City.
