Behind-The-Scenes: Die Antwoord’s ‘Fatty Boom Boom’
By now, we’ve all seen Die Antwoord’s fantastically fun and unapologetically anti-Gaga video, ‘Fatty Boom Boom’. You remember, it’s the one that got Lady Gaga to show the world she has no sense of humor. Clever, those Die Antwoords. Anyway, since we all loved it so much, we now bring you a ‘making-of’ video produced by Noisey.
Yo-Landi and Ninja talk about how they pulled off some of the scenes in Johannesburg. One part I found pretty interesting is how they set-up mini sets on a wild animal park to get the shots that made it look like lions and hyenas just lay about the streets of South Africa. It’s all just smoke-and-mirros, people. They also talk about some of the art and actors used in the video.
Finally, Ninja lets us know who he finds more attractive: Lady Gaga or the guy who played Lady Gaga in the video. What’s your guess?

Kelly, STOP IT. Victimizing Gaga is awful and beneath anybody. What this group did was foul and just plain stupid.
