James Franco Gets Dirty In A Leather Bar And It Was All Caught On Camera
‘Interior. Leather Bar’ is a new film from James Franco and San Francisco-based filmmaker Travis Matthews. Originally titled, ‘James Franco’s 40 Minutes’, it’s said to be an homage to William Friedkin’s ‘Cruising’ (the 1980 Al Pacino hanky-code classic).
Matthews calls it a ‘Homo-sex-art-film’. Gus Van Sant calls it, “Awesome! Complicated, strange and avant-garde”. I call it an “average Tuesday night.” I think you can make out the back of my head in a few scenes. I had no idea they were filming a movie. Geesh!
It will premiere at Sundance in January in the ‘New Frontiers’ section.
