And thank god. I’ve certainly made it no secret that I have not been pleased with Raf’s initial collections for Dior since taking it over nearly a year ago. Mainly because I love him and I didn’t see too much of him coming through. It was all Dior and more specifically, Christian Dior. Like, from the 50s. Snore. I’m not really interested in retro pretty. Or, at least, the pretty has to be balanced with some edge.

Raf definitely has the edge, so why not bring that into the pretty at Dior? As we’ve seen from his eponymous line as well as the work he did over at Jil Sander, he loves bold, bright color, assymetrical cuts and art prints.

Well, here we go. Dior Fall 2013 RTW has all three! it’s really all I ever wanted! A little Dior mixed in with Raf, not the other way around. I love all the Warhol prints used in the collection. And the shoes. Check out the shoes! Now, I don’t know if you can actually walk in them, but that’s not my problem.
