‘Scatter My Ashes At Bergdorf’s’ looks like one of those films that I wish was four hours long instead of two. I mean, who doesn’t want to watch a movie about fashion, shopping, style, wit, money, socialites, and all-around fabulousness? Count me in. I haven’t been this excited about a documentary since ‘The September Issue’.
In theaters May 3rd. Jump in for a clip from the film featuring Karl Lagerfeld.
Laura Brown chats with Karl Lagerfeld for the final installment of Harper’s Bazaar’s ‘The Comedown’. Of course we get plenty of Karlisms (we learn he has no eyes), but what I enjoyed most was Laura’s playfulness with him. I don’t think I’ve ever seen another interviewer so comfortable around Big Karl.
Watch an episode of ‘The Comedown’ with Olivier Theyskens, after the jump.

British artist Lorna May Wadsworth is making it really easy for you to put some nice original artwork on your walls. Each season, she produces 100 pieces and sells them for £100 (US$158) each. You just can’t beat it. She covers all sorts of subject matter, but here I’ve pulled just fashion-oriented stuff. I quite like the shopping bags, don’t you?
You can buy them here.

We all got to know and love Vogue’s Creative Director Grace Coddington from ‘The September Issue’, a documentary whose only flaw was brevity. We all left the theaters wanting more, especially of Grace. Well, come November 20th, we’ll have our wish. That’s when her memoir, ‘Grace’ comes out. Hint: that would make a really good birthday gift for yours truly. (Is that really even a hint?)
Anyway, to tide us over, we get a little peek at some of Grace’s very cool drawings. They say draw what you know, so Grace draws fashion people, photoshoots, and kitty-cats. Something tells me her cat Pumpkin would wipe the floor with Karl’s Choupette, no?
