Björk Takes Us Further Down The Crystal Rabbit Hole
Björk‘s newest album, Biophilia is her least accessible. It’s not only songs, but videos, apps, and now remixes. It’s a brilliant series of works about life, science, and music. Most of the songs have no traditional chorus or melody. It’s really about sounds, mood and her voice. That voice! Her pitch and tone are perfect, especially on tracks like Mutual Core and Solstice. I’d be hard pressed to find a stronger female vocalist working in their top form today. Its so clear and nuanced. The music is well worth the investment of your time. If you sit with it, and really take it in, it will pay you back ten fold. Now, in today’s market I don’t know where you could get a better return! Buy it now.
But, relax, dear investor. If you find yourself hesitant and not willing to give such avant-garde pop music your time, we have good news for you.
